Returning

Okay, I'm back form my trip now. I've finally seen another country. Aside form there being French on the packages and it being near impossible to find a diet Snapple, Canada wasn't that much different from New York.

The amount of souvenirs I bought was surprisingly light. I got a t-shirt from the hockey hall of fame and some anime. I bought the 3rd essential collection of Sorcerer Hunters only because I found it for $8. I would've preferred to get the first volume, as I've only seen episodes 1-4, but it's not everyday you find an anime DVD for $8 that's not used or Yugioh/Pokemon. I also got the first volume of Girls Bravo (everyone needs at least one guilty pleasure.) I'm very impressed with the dub. Finally, because I've been telling myself that I'll someday watch the actual series, I got the first Slayers boxset.

My trip had two major highlights. The first was seeing Niagara falls. That has to be one of the most, if not the most amazing thing I've ever seen. The 2nd highlight was seeing the Canadian version of Beast Wars. Hearing them scream "Beasties!" on the OP and eyecatches instead of "Beast Wars!" was hysterical. Unfortunately I didn't get to catch the weeks fluffy, romantic episode, however I have the DVDs and can watch it whenever I choose. Silverbolt/Blackarachnia is almost as cute as AsuCaga! ^_^ I adore the new pic about Athrun's proposal, however he'd better be talking about Cagalli.
